2015 Ball’s Bluff Remembrance Day Dinner

The Friends of Balls Bluff are pleased to announce the Third Annual Ball’s Bluff Remembrance Dinner.  The Friends of Balls Bluff’s annual fund-raising dinner honors those who fought at the Battle of Ball’s Bluff.

Date:  Sunday, February 22, 2015.

Time: 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Cost: $45 per person.

A “social” starts at 6 p.m.  Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m.

After the dinner Civil War historian Frank O’Reilly tell the story of the soldiers who fought at Ball’s Bluff and Fredericksburg.  Frank has spoken to our Roundtable before and is a renowned author specializing in the Civil War and Mexican War.  His published works include “Stonewall Jackson at Fredericksburg,” articles in various national and international journals, as well as the introductions of many books.  He has appeared in various documentaries, CSPAN, and international conferences.  He is currently researching a book on the Battle of Malvern Hill and the Seven Days’ Campaign around Richmond.
