Documentary Premiere: “Region Divided”

Join Roger Mudd and a panel of historians on December 15 for the first showing of the documentary “Region Divided: Civil War in the Northern Virginia Regional Parks.”  The documentary covers important Civil War events that took place in the parks of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority.  Co-written and narrated by Roger Mudd, it features:

  • Upton Hill
  • Blackburn’s Ford
  • Vienna and the W&OD Railroad
  • Ball’s Bluff
  • Aldie Mill
  • Herndon
  • Mt. Zion Church

The documentary highlights the central role Northern Virginia played in the American Civil War with compelling stories, and helps to mark the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.

The showing takes place at 7 p.m. on December 15, 2011 at the Algonkian Regional Park Meeting Center, 47001 Fairway Drive, Sterling, Virginia, 20165.
